"My name is dan, i am originally from Marshfield, i like long walks on the beach, and i officially think i look a little haggard in this picture. Nonetheless, i am officially a blogger now, and trust me i earned it. I couldn't figure out how to post for like three days because i was in the "u" zone when Mrs. Lake (head blogger, etc.) explained how to post. For any of the readers who didn't attend the orientation shindig, the "u" zone is the area opposite the "t" zone, and if u still don't get what i am talking about, u didn't attend the orientation or u were just sitting in the "u" zone at the orientation, and you are officially not as cool as the people who did. Just kidding, kinda, no but seriously, this is the first time i have blogged; it is pretty dank and i suggest u give it a shot. C'mon everyone is doing it. Maybe not here, but somewhere. " Read

"Well, first off the name. I have been referred to by my middle name ("Cerys") since birth. If you attempt to address me as "Moria" I probably won't notice and assume that you're talking to someone else. "Cerys" is pronounced "Kare-iss." Got it? Good.
Now, onto me. I am a geek on many levels, and as such have been blogging on Livejournal for the past several months. All entries here will also appear there, with names changed (or removed outright) to protect the innocent.
My hobbies are: reading, writing (mostly fiction, some non), guitar, Tai Chi, and anything else that catches my interest on a given day.
I don't know what I'll blog about here. Mostly life in general spiced with some random observations, I think. Like have you ever noticed the similarity between the opening chords of "Scotch Cap" (anonymous, Playford's English Dancing Master, 1651) and "The Passenger" (Iggy Pop, Lust for Life, 1977)? Things like that (and have you?). " Read

"Welcome to my blog! This is my first year teaching at UW—Marshfield/Wood County. After living in Madison and Milwaukee for the last ten years, I’m excited to live in rural Wisconsin. In fact, I have already encountered someone who has “tipped” a cow (and I’m not talking about 20 percent of the bill, either)!
I’m looking forward to all the adventures that Marshfield will bring! " Read

"“Mmmmm where can I start off about myself. I’m sexy and I love bubble baths…and occasionally I talk to myself. HAHA jk! Ok for real now I’m an ’06 graduate of Medford Area Senior High. I’m going to be a freshman at “The Wood”. I plan on attending UW-Marshfield for two years concentrating on basic classes then transferring to another UW school to major in Sports Marketing. If not Sports Marketing I would really like to do something in International Business. I love traveling and have recently been to Hong Kong and Israel.
Sports are my life…I even watch golf! Duke is my all time favorite college team, even the LAX team! I believe JJ Redick and Reggie Bush are going to be gods in their respective sports…oh yeah, forgot about that guy name Vince Young.
Well now that you know who I am…wanna go on a date? No? you rejected me? How could you? I can’t beli…*leaves crying*” " Read
