The Lotzer Family – They mean business!
By spring 2009, three members of the Lotzer
family will have completed two years at UW-Marshfield/Wood
County. Cathy Lotzer, who works in Human Resources at
Marshfield Utilities, finished in May 2006. She majored in
business, and plans on completing her bachelor’s degree after
her sons, Nic and Chris complete their college
educations.
“I really enjoyed my time here at
UW-Marshfield/Wood County, and I’m thrilled that my sons have
decided to get their starts here,” Cathy said. “I know they’ll
get personal attention from their instructors and will benefit
from the small class sizes.”
Nic (far left) graduated in spring 2008.
All his credits will transfer – guaranteed – when he heads to
UW-Stout in the fall, where he will finish his junior and senior
years, majoring in Business Administration and Economics
Chris (far right) started at
UW-Marshfield/Wood County in Fall 2007 – also majoring in
business. He’s not sure where he’ll transfer.
As for Pete Lotzer, he’s just happy that both his
sons and his wife opted for UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
“I’m the source of payment,” said Pete, who works
at Associated Sales & Leasing. “By
attending UW-Marshfield/Wood County, the kids saved us a lot on
tuition, plus the cost of room and board. It’s a great
location, a great price and a quality education.”
