In what courses can a student receive tutoring?

English 098, 101, 102 and all general writing needs
(History, Political Science, Psych, Soc, etc.

Math 090, 091, 105, 108, 110, 113, 124, 211, 221, 222

Other subjects based on student need
Come prepared:
-
Bring all relevant materials to the tutoring session
including textbooks, syllabus, class notes, past papers,
assignments and/or tests.

Plan to be an active participant in your session with the
tutor.

Academic success requires that you attend class, read
assignments, take class notes, and attempt homework
problems.
Math:
-
Tutoring is available five days a week on a drop-in basis.

Resource materials include solution manuals, sample tests,
supplemental texts.

The math tutoring schedule is Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Writing:
-
Resource materials include handouts on style, word choice,
transition, comma usage and thesis development;
documentation resources and writers' handbooks.

The writing tutor's schedule is Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2
p.m.
