Campus Community Players
The Campus-Community Players, under the direction of Damian Ernest, presents a wide variety of productions, including classical work, new plays, musicals and sometimes family oriented work.
As a college theatre program, which also relies on members of the community in its productions, the primary goal of the program is the education of students. Many students have gone on to professional careers in acting, directing, playwriting, theatre education and theatrical production. This aim of teaching and learning, requires a variety of theatrical genres, periods and styles which reflect the current contemporary theatre landscape.
There are many opportunities to get involved both onstage and off. New faces are always welcome!
The University/Community Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Richard Brunson includes both UW-Marshfield/Wood County student musicians, as well as community musicians from throughout Central Wisconsin.

Dr. Richard Brunson, conducts the University Concert Choir, composed of UW-Marshfield/Wood County student singers. The group performs a varied repertoire of accompanied and a cappella choral music, from Renaissance music to contemporary works.
For more than 40 years, the UW-Marshfield/Wood County Symphony Orchestra has presented outstanding concerts featuring the finest in traditional and contemporary orchestral literature. The performing season features guest artists, as well as a "Pops" concert. The orchestra is under the direction of Dr. Richard Brunson and includes both students and community members.

If you enjoy popular music or Jazz, and are looking for an outlet for your skills, this is the place for you. Music reading and instrumental ability is required. Standard instruments are Trumpets, Trombones, Saxophones, Drums and Percussion, Piano, Bass, and Guitar, though most instruments are welcome. The ensemble is primarily instrumental, though is open to solo vocalists. There is the possibility of performing some vocal ensemble material, if the interest exists. Members will gain experience in ensemble playing in a less formal setting than concert band. They will have the opportunity to learn about improvising music in a Jazz style, and participate in several performances that are scheduled throughout the year. The jazz ensemble is under the direction of Thomas McComb and includes both students and community members.
Visual Arts Series
The Visual Arts Series, an ongoing program of the Art Department since 1986, brings recognized artists to the campus for exhibitions in the Fine Arts Gallery (Gallery 450), public lectures, demonstrations and workshops. These visiting artists offer our students and the community insights into new ideas in contemporary art.
