Alumni Achievement
Award Criteria
Purpose:
The Alumni Achievement Award recognizes
UW-Marshfield/Wood County alumni for
outstanding achievement and/or leadership demonstrated in their
chosen fields of interest, or to the UW-Marshfield/Wood County
Campus.
Selection Criteria:

The recipient must be an alumnus of the
UW-Marshfield/Wood County Campus having completed at least
24 semester hours, or a former student who, in the opinion
of the selection committee, is qualified for the honor.

The recipient must have attended the
UW-Marshfield/Wood County Campus within the past 10 years.

The recipient must have demonstrated
professional, civic, or social achievements indicative of
emerging talent and future potential.
Nominations:
Nominations may be made by anyone,
except the nominee. You do not need to be an alumnus to
nominate an individual for the UW-Marshfield/Wood County Alumni
Achievement Award. Completed nominations must be submitted by
August 1.
A nomination will be maintained and
considered for up to three years, after that time an individual
must be re-nominated for further consideration.
Restrictions:
- Current members of the Alumni Association
Board of Directors and Alumni Awards Committee members may
not be considered for the award.
- Previous award recipients are not eligible
for consideration.
Selection:

Selection of the recipient(s) is made by the
Alumni Awards Committee and approved by the
UW-Marshfield/Wood County Alumni Association Board of
Directors.

Awards Committee members: Association
president (ex-officio), two members of the Alumni
Association Board of Directors, two at large alumni members,
and one faculty member (current or emeritus).
Presentation:
Award will be presented at the Annual Alumni
Association Banquet. The Alumni Association will host each recipient
and a guest at the Annual Alumni Banquet and Awards
presentations.
