UW-Marshfield/Wood County seeks musicians - August 27, 2005 MARSHFIELD – The UW-Marshfield/Wood County Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble are inviting musicians from throughout Central Wisconsin to join the three performing groups. The Symphonic Band, conducted by Dr. David De Lyser, meets 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays. All instruments are welcome, especially French horns, saxes, double reeds and percussion. The Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Timothy McCollum, meets 7-9 p.m. Thursdays. All strings are welcome. Winds by audition. The Jazz Ensemble, also conducted by Dr. De Lyser, meets 7-9 p.m. Mondays.
