students named to Student Senate, newspaper
MARSHFIELD – Brett Sigurdson, 24,
Neillsville, has been selected to serve as editor of the
UW-Marshfield/Wood County campus newspaper, Insight.
Sigurdson will be managing a staff of
about 20 students, who will be reporting monthly on campus
and community events. Sigurdson is a 2000 graduate of
Neillsville High School. He spent a year working as a
reporter for the Clark County Press.
The following students have been
elected to the UW-Marshfield/Wood County Student Senate by
the student body:
● President: Wendy Waterman,
Stratford. She is a sophomore, non-traditional student,
majoring in Business Administration.
● Vice President: Allison Bernitt, a
graduate of Stratford High School. She is a sophomore
majoring in Business Management.
● Treasurer: Sarah Trudeau, a graduate
of Marshfield High School. She is a freshman majoring in
Accounting.
● Secretary: Juliana Schlinsog, a
graduate of Granton High School. She is a sophomore
majoring in Education.
● Public Relations Coordinator:
Patrick Neuenfeldt, a graduate of Owen-Withee High School.
His is a freshmen majoring in Secondary Education.
● Freshman Executive Officers:
Courtney Pease, a graduate of Pittsville High School. She
is a freshmen majoring in English; and Justin Cronk, a
graduate of Crandon High School. He is a freshman majoring
in Education.
