MARSHFIELD - The
UW-Marshfield/Wood County University Foundation has awarded
the first Norb and Phyllis Koopman Family Scholarship to
Kristen Hanuszczak of Granton. After completing two years
at the Marshfield campus, Kristen will be attending
UW-Stevens Point. The annual Norb & Phyllis Kooman Family
Award was established by Phyllis and the late Dr. Norbert
Koopman, and is supported by gifts in his memory. Dr.
Koopman was the first dean at UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
The Foundation
also awarded the following scholarships to students
attending the campus this fall:

McLellan was awarded a $1,000 Marshfield Savings Bank
Scholarship.
Stephen
Rottscheit was awarded a $500 Dean’s Scholarship.
Erika Stroetz
was awarded a $1,000 Umhoefer Foundation Scholarship.

Scholarship.
