Payments of
Tuition & Fees
We are now accepting payment for Summer 2008. Payment must
be received on or before the first day of classes.
NOTE: UW-Marshfield/Wood County DOES NOT send out
bills. You must check your PRISM account summary
or feel free to call Tuition Services at 715-389-6536.
For

2.
Pay your fees by mail. Address your envelope to:

3. In-person
payments at Tuition Services may be made by cash, check or money
order. Make checks payable to the UW. Include your name
and student identification number or social security number on
the check. For checks returned because of non-sufficient funds,
there is a $20 charge, plus any financial institution
charges. Payment may be made at Tuition Services during business hours.
If the office is closed, use
the depository box to the right of the Business Services
office W.W. Clark Administration Building.
To
receive your receipt, include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
No Show Policy
If you do not
attend any of your first class sessions,
and haven’t contacted your instructor by email, phone or
mail, you will be dropped from the course. If you do
not attend any of your first class sessions, you will be
withdrawn from UW-Campus and will forfeit your $100 Advance
Tuition Deposit. Please contact the
Student
Services office for more information.
Dropping
Credits/Withdraw and Refund
If
you decide to drop a class or to not attend any classes, your
fees will not be adjusted until you officially drop the
course(s). Students who do not attend the first class
meeting of a course may be dropped from that
course.
Course Drop and Withdrawal forms are available from
the Student Services Office. The date the Student Services
Office receives your form(s) is the official date of your action.
If you drop or withdraw by mail, the postmark date is the
official date. If
you received financial aid and withdraw from the university,
repayment of your financial aid may be required.
If
you withdraw from this university or drop a course, your refund
will be mailed to you, usually by the end of the semester. The
amount of your refund will be based on the official date of your
withdrawal or course drop.

United Council Fee:
Non-refundable after the first week of the term.
Special Course Fee:
Non-refundable after the first week of the term.
Online Administrative Fee:
Non-refundable after the close of registration.
*Less the $100
forfeiture/withdrawal fee if you are totally withdrawn
during the 100% refund period.
Financial aid eligibility will be recalculated if you
withdraw from all classes prior to completing 60% of the
term. This could result in your
owing repayment of aid, placing you at risk as to
Satisfactory Academic Progress, and jeopardizing future aid
eligibility if unpaid.
Financial
Aid
If
you are receiving financial assistance, you are responsible for
the timely payment of your fees.
Note that delivery of financial aid is not permitted
before the sixth day of classes.

Financial aid
awards will be based on the number of credits in which you are
enrolled on the sixth day of classes. At the
time of delivery of your financial aid the amount of tuition owed
to the university will be deducted from the aid you are to
receive. You will receive any balance in the form of a
refund
check after the sixth day of classes. Your refund check will be mailed
directly to you from the Central Financial Aid Office at UW
Colleges in Madison.
If you are not able to pay your tuition on or before the end of the
first week of classes, contact
Tuition Services
to set up a
Partial Payment Plan.
