Transfer students

UW-Marshfield/Wood County was my entryway into UW-Madison.
I started out here, through the
Madison
Connections Program. It saved me a ton of money on
tuition! Plus, I was able to live at home, which saved me
a ton on room & board.
Best of all, the small campus environment allowed me to get
personal attention from my professors, thanks to small class
sizes. I used the
Transfer Information System, and met with my advisor, which
helped me map out exactly what classes I needed. All my
credits transferred without a hitch! Yours will too!
Guaranteed!
I'll be starting my first year of pharmacy school at
UW-Madison in September, after only two years of college.
Most people don't get in with only two years. Madison is
encouraging at least three years of pre-pharmacy. I did it
in two - less time and less money!
It wasn't only my GPA - which is 3.89 - that got me into
pharmacy school. It was the fantastic opportunities I had
to get involved on campus. All colleges and universities
like students who play an active role on their campuses.
And I certainly did at The Wood! I was a
student ambassador,
Phi Theta Kappa president and a member of
Students Opposing Acts of Prejudice, just to name a few.
I really enjoyed my time at UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
Two years here saved me money and time. It was my Best
Start. It can be yours, too!

Transferring in?
If you attended another college before applying for admission
to the UW-Marshfield/Wood County, you must have maintained a "C" average or
higher (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) at your previous college(s) to be admitted. If you are
admitted and had less than a 2.00 semester or cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA),
the UW Colleges academic regulations (probation and suspension standards) will be used to
determine tour admission status. For more information, contact
